CFPB Publishes Reference Chart for 2023 HMDA Data

The CFPB recently published its Regulatory and Reporting Overview Reference Chart (Chart) for Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) data collected, recorded, and reported in 2023 as required by Regulation C.  The Chart is intended to be used as a reference tool for HMDA data that must be collected in 2023 and reported in 2024.  It also provides guidance on when to report data as “not applicable” or “exempt.”
