Vermont Amends Provisions Regarding Licensing Fees

Vermont recently passed a bill, House Bill 527 (HB 527), which, among other things, amends the application fee, initial licensing fee, and the renewal fee for any entity that applies for or holds any combination of a lender license, mortgage broker license, loan solicitation license, or loan servicer license in Vermont.  Note that this amendment does not create a new license type (e.g., a new combined license), but rather it adjusts the fees that an entity must pay when it holds multiple Vermont licenses.

These changes made by HB 527 went into effect on July 1, 2019.
