South Carolina Issues Biennial Change in Dollar Amounts Under Consumer Protection Code

The South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs recently announced this year’s changes in dollar amounts used in the Consumer Protection Code.  Effective July 1, 2018.  The dollar amounts will increase by 10% of the original amount, except for those amounts related to delinquency charges, which have a self-executing formula.

The current dollar amounts will be effective from July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2020.  The full list of dollar amounts can be found on page 13 of the PDF available here.
