FHA Releases Single Family Mortgage Related Resources in Multiple Languages

On June 13, 2023, FHA made various single family mortgage documents and related resources available in Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Tagalog, and Vietnamese on its new language access web page.

These resources, intended to facilitate lenders and servicers working with borrowers with limited English proficiency, are part of FHA’s ongoing efforts to remove language access barriers for borrowers, and part of HUD Secretary’s focus on equity.  As the Assistant Secretary for Housing and Federal Housing Commissioner explained, “[t]hese new resources will help prospective homebuyers better understand their transaction and make more informed decisions before they are at the closing table.”

FHA plans on releasing additional resources in the future.
