Federal Reserve Board Begins 2019 Survey of Consumer Finances

Every three years since 1983 the Federal Reserve Board has conducted a Survey of Consumer Finances.  The survey results in providing data to show what Americans own, how and how much they borrow and how they bank.  The survey is being conducted by NORC which is a social science research organization at the University of Chicago.

A letter from Chairman Jerome H. Powell will be sent mid-March 2019 to about 13,000 households urging participation.
